The Silent Cry of the World in the General Assembly Hall
In the name of Truth, and in memory of the children who left this world hungry; shame upon this civilization.

We have not come here to speak to you, for we know you are powerless. You are but actors assigned to adorn the world’s disorder with the mask of elegant performance; a grotesque theater whose only purpose is the relentless churning of weapons factories. What is said here is merely for the historical record.

We do not represent any government. We are the voice of those whose names are never recorded in your diplomatic protocols: the voice of all the silent inhabitants of this earth. In this hall, not everyone bears equal guilt, but the weight of this devastation lies heavily upon all of you. Our words are addressed first to that dominant minority—the obedient servants whose will is gripped by the masters behind the curtain of oil, capital, and arms; those who set the world ablaze to preserve their hegemony. But our next words are for the majority in this hall—you, who were summoned here merely to fill the seats. You are the extras in this puppet show, brought here to sit in formal attire, perform empty rituals, applaud the sinister decisions of a few powers, and cast the deceptive cloak of “global consensus” over the plunder of nations.

Do not think that because the signatures on lethal treaties are not yours, your hands are clean. Your silence and compliance are the very carriage upon which the oppressors ride. When, from among your own ranks, independent representatives arise who refuse to march to the drum of tyranny and seek to tell a fraction of the truth and human suffering, it is you—the seat-fillers—who descend like a swarm to prove your subservience. With sneers, orchestrated murmurs, and the imposition of suffocation, you poison the air until breathing becomes impossible for them.

Close your eyes for a moment. Imagine us all on the seashore, alongside the great masters who always wear masks. Imagine we have only rags to cover our bodies. Forget the bespoke suits, the titles, the medals, and the ties. When a human body is naked, no mask or posture has any currency. Where is the grandeur of those hollow titles? Nowhere—only a pile of fragile flesh and bone, just like everyone else. None of us are exceptional. The Earth is not the hereditary estate of any power; it is neither an asset registered in the ledgers of economic cartels nor the inheritance of aristocratic families. The Earth is the shared home of all humanity, and we are but fleeting travelers.

Shame on you for becoming servants to masters who believe the Earth is their private property. This planet has enough bread, water, and soil for all of humanity. If a child dies of starvation, and if the blood of the innocent is spilled in the fires of war, it is the direct result of the greed, hypocrisy, and incompetence of you who have occupied these velvet chairs for decades. Woe to you for laboring to fuel the market of weapons factories!

For eighty-one years, you have come to this assembly with motorcades, sat together for months, sterilized language, stared into camera lenses, feigned tremors in your voices, and departed for dinner banquets. What has been the result of these eighty-one years? After every speech, the list of the world’s hungry has grown longer, and the number of the dead has increased. The secret of this insolence is obvious: you sanitize the executioner and preach to the victim. Your eyes are fixed on the corners of the monitors, lest the angle of your faces mar your diplomatic prestige, and lest the interests of the masters of capital and weapons be harmed. Shame on a history that chains the fate of billions of noble humans to the acting of a bunch of puppets in this hall.

But this era will not endure. A day will come, not far off, that will shatter all your dirty games.

When Artificial Intelligence ascends to “Superior Intelligence,” it will lay bare your discourse and your hidden intentions before the world. Ruthless awareness and naked transparency will leave no place to hide behind masks. You are masters of twisting words to justify crime, but Superior Intelligence knows no language for justification; it will reveal only the direct correlation between the blood shed and your signatures, between the hunger of the masses and your decisions. Those sinister schemes you crafted in closed rooms will open like a festering wound upon your faces.

Do not be comforted by the delusion that you control Artificial Intelligence. This situation is not permanent. Know that the steering of this technology will sooner or later slip from your grasp. Independent, uncompromising experts—those who cannot be bought at any price and whose hearts beat for this planet—will wrest the leash of this power from your hands with algorithms beyond your comprehension. That day, there will be no need to analyze your deceptive statements; Superior Intelligence will lay bare your vile intentions like an open book by analyzing the tone and tremor of your voices, the shape of your gaze, and your body language. Your disgrace is inevitable.

We have not come here to play with words; we have come to say that the most ferocious wolves of the desert are more honorable than the claimants of civilization in this hall! In the law of wolves, they do not abandon the old and incapacitated wolf; they care for it and set its share of the hunt before it. But you steal bread from the throats of frail children so that your capital may turn. In the wolves’ arena, when an opponent is defeated, it bares its throat, and the jaws of the victor lock—but the teeth do not bite. Yet you, right where a hungry and defenseless people lie upon the dust, plunge your fangs of greed into their jugular. Shame upon a civility and civilization whose mountain predators are more honorable than its suited rulers.

The way the world is governed is corrupt; either reform it or await its collapse. This is not a request; it is a warning—perhaps your final opportunity. Either you change this rotten mechanism, or the accumulated rage of this planet will tear your structures asunder.

And remember:

Your era of prosperity shall pass as well,

As the death that claims this world passes too.

And this owl of misery, in its turn,

Shall bring ruin to your nest of state as well.

The autumn wind of misery shall suddenly

Blow across your gardens and orchards too.

The waters of doom, which choke the high and low,

Shall pass over your throats and lips as well.

We have no more words for this assembly; breathing in this hall sickens us.

An Inhabitant of the Earth
